Join us for our Biannual Spring 2018 Conference, Over the Rainbow,

Saturday and Sunday, May 19 and 20, 2018

REGISTRATION OPENS FEBRUARY 5th at 8:30 a.m. PST. Please mark your choices carefully when you register; it makes more work for us if we have to make changes manually. The system will not let you make changes once you go to the pay screen.

Guide to Portland


Saturday – 8:15 to 5:45 (opening session at 9:15, final session ends at 5:45), PARTY (optional) – 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Sunday – 8:00 to 5:05 (opening session at 9:15, final session ends at 5:05)

You may book your reservation for one day or for both. No matter which day you come, you’re invited to attend Saturday night’s party!

Bookstore will open both days – see the schedule for times. We take checks and cash only. No credit cards, sorry.

Note: Pay online with a debit or credit card. If you do not want to pay online, send a check asap to: SCBWI Oregon, PO Box 990, Mulino, OR 97024-0990. Your registration will be complete once we receive your check. Until then you could lose your spot for special opportunities.


ONCE YOU’VE REGISTERED: You can see the details of what you selected by going to your PROFILE, clicking on EVENT HISTORY on the left, and choosing VIEW REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION on this conference.

REFUNDS: Consultation fees are nonrefundable. No refunds for conference after May 1st. A $15.00 handling fee will be retained on all refunds.

We are also offering scholarships to the conference. Deadline to apply is February 5th. Click here for more info.

HOTEL INFORMATION: If you want to stay overnight, make your reservations directly with the hotel itself.

Hotel reservations will be made by individual attendees directly with Holiday Inn reservations at 1-800-HOLIDAY (800-465-4329). Ask for the SCBWI Oregon Annual Conference 2018 group rate. Reservations must be made by April 30, 2018. Rates are $109 for Single and Double rooms.
