A one-day event for middle grade and young adult writers.

Join us for a full day of workshops, one-on-one critiques and a panel discussion about middle grade and young adult novels, featuring Christy Ottaviano, editor at Christy Ottaviano Books/Henry Holt, Mandy Hubbard, founder and agent at Emerald City Literary, April Henry, local author extraordinaire, and Rachel Letofski, associate agent at The Cooke Agency.

This event is limited to 80 attendees. Cost is $75 Members/$105 Nonmembers; $85 Members/$115 Nonmembers after May 1, 2017. Registration opened March 25, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Registration closes May 27, 2017. No refunds after May 1st.* No refunds on consultations.

A limited number of one-on-one consultations with agent Mandy Hubbard (sold out), agent Rachel Letofsky (sold out), will take place during the workshops. Manuscript consultations are $50 each. The deadline for manuscripts to be received is May 5th. Sign up when you register, first-come, first-served. We will also be offering a limited number of written critiques with editor Christy Ottaviano's assistant, Jessica Anderson, and editor Abby Ranger's assistant, Rose Pleuler. And we are offering written critiques in combination with a Skype appointment with author Amber J. Keyser. Be sure to read all information in the lavender box before you register!
