The SCBWI’s Great Critique is an event that the SCBWI-OR puts on two times per year. Each session is an awesome opportunity for writers and illustrators to be mentored and critiqued by their peers.
Writers and illustrators can take the feedback and do what they want with it. Sometimes they might change a paragraph or simply tweak a word or two; maybe they will alter the design of an illustration. No matter what they do, they have new insights about their work.
So join us for a morning of perfecting your craft. And, who knows, you might make a few new like-minded friends too.
There will be a meet and greet at 9:30, while people sign in, get their nametags, etc. Mull around with a cup of coffee and enjoy a snack, while you meet other writers.
The cost for SCBWI members is $15. For nonmembers it is $25. You must pre-register for this event–no registrations at the door. Registration opened on November 28th. You must select your mentor when you register–one selection only.
